Молодежные «Примаковские чтения». День 1

21 июня прошло официальное открытие VIII молодежной сессии «Примаковских чтений», проводимой Центром Примакова совместно с Советом молодых ученых и аспирантов ИМЭМО.

📍Тема программы — «Порядок, основанный на знаниях».

В первый день участников ждали экспертные дискуссии по следующим темам:

🔵«Фабрики смыслов: конкуренция идей в международных отношениях»

Федор Войтоловский, д.полит.н., чл.-корр. РАН, директор ИМЭМО РАН, рассказал о развитии мировых научных центров: как и почему они появлялись, какие задачи решали и что влияет сегодня на формирование глобальной интеллектуальной повестки.

🔵«Научно-технологическое развитие стран БРИКС+»

Виктория Панова, к.и.н., проректор НИУ ВШЭ и шерпа России в W20, обозначила ключевые инструменты и механизмы научного сотрудничества внутри БРИКС. Отдельное внимание она уделила существующим платформам, через которые молодые эксперты могут обмениваться опытом и вносить вклад в технологическое развитие стран объединения.

День завершился в Национальном центре «Россия», где участники увидели, чем живут сегодня регионы нашей страны, и узнали больше о передовых инициативах в науке, спорте и технологиях.

Primakov Youth Readings. Day 1

On June 21, the official opening of the 8th Primakov Youth Readings took place in IMEMO. The event is organized by the Primakov Center in collaboration with the Council of Young Scientists and Postgraduates.

📍The theme of this year’s program is “A Knowledge-Based Order.”

On the first day, participants took part in expert discussions on the following topics:

🔵 "Factories of Meaning: Competition of Ideas in International Relations"

Dr. Feodor Voitolovsky, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of IMEMO, spoke about the evolution of global research centers — how and why they emerged, what objectives they served, and what factors shape today’s global intellectual agenda.

🔵 "Scientific and Technological Development of BRICS+ Countries"

Dr. Victoria Panova, Head, BRICS Expert Council — Russia, Vice Rector, HSE University, Russian W20 Sherpa, outlined key tools and mechanisms of scientific cooperation within BRICS. She paid special attention to existing platforms that allow young experts to exchange experience and contribute to the technological development of the member countries.

The day concluded with a visit to the National Center “Russia”, where participants explored how the country’s regions are developing today and learned more about leading initiatives in science, sports, and technology.
