Got my first t480s

And I love it! $194, facial scan, and pristine with 512 GB SSD and 16 GB of RAM. Impressed at how quick and responsive it is. Bummed that it only detects one monitor from my Targus display port dock, but I'll deal with it. I have an HDMI for my other monitor anyways. Obviously not a gaming power house but Sims 4 runs flawlessly anyways

Is the ThinkPad T14 Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U good enough for physics, programming, and YouTube?

I'm planning to start a physics degree and also want to create a YouTube channel about science and travel. My budget is tight, so I can't afford a brand-new workstation laptop. I'm also planning to self-study programming (C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python) and learn the MERN stack.

I've been looking at the ThinkPad T14 with a Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U processor, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD. Is this laptop good enough for my needs?

Also, I've heard that the Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U is better than an Intel i7 11th Gen. Is that true?
