X1 Carbon Gen 13 having a bad runtime

Hi there,

I recently switched from Macbook to X1C G13 due to the need of windows. Using VM was not an option though. I have to admit that I'm happy with windows and many workflows are way more easy for me.

Nevertheless I explicit chose the X1C due to the availability of a haptic touchpad and the G13 because of Lunar Lake and all the good reviews about its thermal and energy management.

However I am disappointed a lot because of a terrible running time, I was expecting at least 10+ hours of working without recharging but I barely get 6+ hours on this machine. It stays cool and quiet, yes (except the coil whines). Have the config with OLED, might this be the issue?

My work usually is only chrome with 20 tabs, whatsapp in the background, thats it.

Are there any hints how to extend the battery life on this machine??
