Router Nitro is Getting an Upgrade ⚡

Router Nitro was under maintenance over the past few days as part of a broader security upgrade. But that’s not all, we’re also in the process of transforming Router Nitro into a significantly more powerful cross-chain asset transfer product. This upgraded version is currently in development and will be launching very soon.

In the meantime, we’re bringing Router Nitro back online in phases. First phase is the launch of a select set of chains where Nitro is the canonical bridge.
These include: Saakuru, Matchain, Vanar, Tangle, Rootstock, Redbelly, Odyssey, Oasis Sapphire, Nerochain, Dogechain.

Additionally, USDC transfers are also enabled for all CCTP-supported chains.
These include: Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, OP Mainnet, Polygon, Solana, Sui.

In the coming days, bridging will be re-enabled for other chains as well — powered by a stronger, upgraded version of Router Nitro that marks a major leap in our crosschain capabilities.

This upgrade is part of a long-thought-out strategy, accelerated by the growing urgency to strengthen and evolve our cross-chain bridge, Router Nitro. Router Protocol’s Business Suite, including capabilities like general message passing, Router Pay, and burn-and-mint integrations continues to power seamless interoperability across chains.
