*Following are the Job description*
1. Lead purchasing activities of all regions by developing, implementing an integrated procurement plan for all projects and other activities requiring procurement support.
2. Challenge existing ways of working, introducing creative new professional way of working through the new designed organization
3. Act as the primary source of contact from Supply chain for Supply and Demand SBU’s.
Formulate and implement Procurement and Sourcing Plans and budget in line with ongoing and future projects
Formulate and implement Category Sourcing strategy, plans and budget in line with overall corporate strategy
6. Identify and actively drive continuous improvement cross regions, projects and SBU’s to optimize global value creation.
Lead, develop and coach the procurement staff for all regions and contracting activities for assigned categories
Understand and challenge regional internal demand, specifications and cost budgets and sets directions for improvements with Projects and SBU Managers
Optimize Interactions between procurement and Supply/Demand through implementation of KPI’s and SLA’s to monitor the performance
Optimize overall cost position and realize savings in procurement portfolio and vendor base based on trends, benchmarking and analysis and negotiations.
Sets savings targets and drives compliance to the contracts.
12. Ensure rigorous adherence to policies and procedures
Set and implement and integrated and holistic procurement plan including all regions, projects and other activities based on inputs gathered from Internal customers.
Coordinate with Category Managers to launch RFI’s related to Tender Activities, RFQ’s related to BOQ items well in advance based on the integrated procurement plan
Accountability of the whole cycle of Procure To Pay Process from Requisition to Payment of suppliers,
Manage and fix issues between Category Management and regional procurement related to transactions such as invoice payment, damaged / returned goods and shipping delays etc
Manage interaction between Supply Chain and Supply / Demand business units.
Prepare Dashboard and analysis for monthly purchase based on the total amount ,category, price ,vendor details
Prepare weekly report and send to procurement director
20. Make necessary evaluation for the supplier and do necessary update in the vendor data base

5 years’ experience of managing a similar function in a construction organization
