One of my most memorable activities as a kid was going to different travel bag stores with my parents (separately) and watching what bags they both gravitated towards and why. It happened often. They had very different outlooks on life, and the travel bags they chose, despite being so simple, reflected so much of their differences, traits, worries, dreams, personalities. My parents didn't talk to me a lot but I learned enough about them through how they prepared for travel and behaved on trips. The only thing they had in common was wanderlust.
I miss pre-online shopping era, probably why I always check out stores in the airport and lounge around freely, its de-stressing in that environment. I love slowing down while almost everyone around me is speeding up to get to where they have to be, it's the perfect time to observe humans. I tend to get social and talk to random people from different stories and backgrounds, many of which were special and unforgettable. It's probably easier to socialize knowing you will most likely never see each other again. I still remember visiting travel agencies to book flight tickets with my mom before internet booking caught up. It was a fun world..
I need to travel once every few months or I start feeling terribly sad and suffocated.
Witnessed a beautiful solar spike that day.. I wouldn't have noticed it if it wasnt for a conversation I was having with a lady by the window.
I'm so nostalgic rn chat but this what keeps me going.... I want more experiences to be nostalgic about every day
