🌙 An astrophotographer managed to capture the Moon, Jupiter and its largest and brightest satellites all in one photo.
👽 The Internet is actively discussing a strange square structure on the surface of Mars, about 2 kilometres long - conspiracy theorists have already built many theories.

This is not a photoshop, but a real photo obtained from the Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC). You can verify the authenticity through Arizona State University's Mars Image Explorer.

This image was taken by the Perseverance rover as one of Mars' satellites, Phobos, was passing across the Sun's disc.

Because of its small size, the shadow cast on the planet is of negligible size.

The coloured dots in the background are not stars, but artefacts of the footage.

The Perseverance rover took a high-resolution photo of the Red Planet.

It turned out to be an informative mini-tour of the planet with a length of one minute.
Interesting fact: every year the Moon moves away from our planet by 4 centimetres. As a result of the shifts, in 200 million years, a day on Earth will be about 25 hours.

On 14 December 1972, three NASA astronauts Eugene Cernan, Harrison Schmitt and Ronald Ellwyn lifted off from the surface of the satellite, completing the last lunar mission, Apollo 17 of the Apollo Expedition.

Since then, no one else has flown to the moon ....
