An episode of interception of a long-range version of the latest highly maneuverable low-observable UAV-"kamikaze" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine UAS SETH (analog of the UAV "Geran-2") over the Moscow region by a 4.3-mach 57E6 SAM, used by the crew of the "Pantsir-S1".

The main technical feature of this drone is the presence of a bispectral television-infrared seeker with an AI module that provides classification/identification and capture of targets by optical and IR signatures in a complex interference environment with the GPS correction module deactivated.

The enemy has found somewhere a piece of an internal presentation of the Russian Ministry of Defense with interesting statistics on those who left their units in the Russian Armed Forces without permission.

The slide does not provide general data, but if we multiply the available figures for initiated criminal cases relative to officially recorded, the total number will be 50,554 military personnel who left the location of their military units.

▪️ The distribution by district is as follows: Southern Military District - 22,577; Moscow Military District - 7,778; Leningrad Military District - 3,052; Eastern Military District - 3,378; Central Military District - 13,769.

Most often, criminal cases were initiated in the Eastern Military District, and least often in the Leningrad Military District. On average, about 40% of cases of evasion of military service ended in criminal prosecution.
It should be noted that there are way more cases in the south, probably in the Caucasus region ...

▪️According to the findings of the analytical group Frontelligence Insight, these figures are similar to the level of desertion of the US Army in Vietnam, which amounted to about 5% of the total number of personnel , and are not significant.

▪️At the same time, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Western media, the level of desertion and unauthorized abandonment of units in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the end of 2024 exceeded 100,000 servicemen. This is about 10% of the personnel of the Ukrainian army, which is twice as much as the current Russian figure, with the real number being way way higher.

The much more serious situation with deserters in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is also indicated by the fact that, starting in the fall of 2024, Ukraine was shaken by several media scandals related to desertion in the ranks of the so-called "150th series brigades", which ultimately even led the enemy to refuse to form new units from mobilized ones.
