End is the new beginning, Pluto's atmosphere is disappearing, turning the dwarf planet into an even icier and desolate part of our solar system. Poor Pluto can't seem to catch a break! Scientists have realised that the dwarf planet in our solar system is undergoing changes that are causing Pluto's atmosphere to disappear. Pluto's atmosphere is expected to completely collapse and freeze by 2030, depositing onto its surface as ice. Meanwhile black holes are formed when the life cycle of a star ends. #space

Elon Musk does it again. The biggest and most powerful rocket ever built took to the skies again. And this time, it came back. The mission aimed to break new ground for Starship, and for spaceflight in general: SpaceX planned to return Starship's huge first-stage booster, known as Super Heavy, directly to its launch mount, catching it with the "chopstick" arms of the launch tower in a bold and unprecedented maneuver. And that's exactly what happened. About seven minutes after liftoff, SpaceX's Super Heavy executed what appeared to be a bull's-eye landing, hovering near the Mechazilla launch tower as the tower captured it with its metal arms. #space

🗓 Calendar of astronomical events for February 2025
In June, five planets will line up in the sky!

Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn will join a planetary parade. We can observe it on the eastern horizon, just before sunrise. Astronomers point out that the line of planets will be visible throughout June.

However, on the 3rd and 4th, Mercury and Saturn were at a minimum distance from each other 😉

On June 27, however, the waning crescent Moon will appear between Venus and Mars. Mercury will also be clearly visible that night, and the whole "parade" will last about an hour.
