"mini-app is eating the Web3" ☄️
❤️ Recently, the Telegram mini-app API had updates. They fixed the mini-app bugs and now allow developers to intentionally set the mini-apps in vertical orientation. This is a game changer that makes more gaming possible within the TON/Telegram ecosystem.
⭐️ More importantly, more and more new projects are being based purely on Telegram Stars. As I mentioned before, Telegram Stars could be the biggest fiat on-ramp ever in the crypto industry. Both have broken the 1 million users mark within a week.

- dton.io / @dtonforum: Updates messages in real-time without needing to refresh the web page. Supports GraphQL and focuses on showing on-chain information for developers.
- tonviewer.com / @tonkeeper_news: Better at displaying transactions in graphs. Helpful for checking how messages jump between different addresses. Very well integrated with many DApps like TonKeeper, Ston.fi, and MyTonWallet, etc.
- tonscan.com: Has a great table listing the wealthiest accounts/addresses in the TON Blockchain. Well-designed with attention to detail and aesthetics.
- tonscan.org: Clean and stable, sometimes faster at indexing and displaying transactions.

1/ The number of developers in TON is rapidly increasing in Q1-Q2 2024. This influx of talent is just the first step, with high-quality projects on the way. The ecosystem is about to experience a boom. Developers bring good projects, which in turn attract more funding into the TON Blockchain. The ecosystem's prosperity is expected to follow one or two quarters later.
2/ Many excellent and experienced teams are working on various categories, not just DeFi, DEXs, Yield Farming or lending products, but also practical DApps. Most importantly, Telegram Stars play a crucial role. And expand some idea after checked in The Open League Hackathon / DoraHacks.
3/ At the current moment, there are some interesting projects recently emerging. I think the successful path for TON might not follow past experiences. While DeFi is still relevant, the killer app for TON might be a combination of "Gaming + Finance." From what I saw in the DoraHacks Hackathon, there are many interesting projects with great talent in smart contract coding. I expect to see more innovations in the near future.

As someone working in an open, public entity, I shouldn’t get involved in political matters.
However, I believe it’s everyone’s basic duty to understand what’s happening in the U.S. election, as it’s related to the future of the world and global affairs.
I’m not sure how this will impact the future of Taiwan or the SEA region, but I do like Elon Musk (you know, maybe because I’m a tech guy?).
