Participants of the Russian Educational Expo Karachi 2024, including Natalia Kovaleva, UrFU Academic mobility coordinator of the UrFU Center for International Student Mobility and Recruitment, visited a Russian language center in Pakistan located at Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology. The Russian language center was opened by Ruslan Prokhorov, head of the Russian House in Karachi, under a grant from the Russian Government.
💡 The new high-tech educational platform will become an aggregator for ideas and projects. It will provide an opportunity for everyone to learn Russian language and culture, communicate and organize meetings and conferences.

🌟 🎎 UrFU International Students Visited the Ekaterinburg Puppet Theatre
Recently, our international students had a tour around the Ekaterinburg Puppet Theatre. Actors of the theater told the foreigners about the performances they have in their repertoire. These are the world famous “The Adventures of Pinocchio”, “Romeo and Juliet”, and the Russian folk tales “Teremok”, “Kolobok” and “Kurochka Ryaba”.
💫 At the end of the excursion, the students took part in a master class on puppet management. They learned about different types of theater puppets - “marionette”, “petrushka” and “kertep doll”, and became a part of the theatrical performance themselves.

⛹️♂️ On November 8, Ural Federal University was represented at the II International Scientific Conference SPORTICOPEDIA Sport Media and Business by the acting director of Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Youth Policy Evgeniy Naboichenko, the head of Department of Theory of Physical Culture Victor Gail and the senior lecturer of Department of Physical Culture, coach of UrFU basketball team Predrag Iovanovich.
📍 The event was organized by the Faculty of Sport of “Union – Nikola Tesla” University in Belgrade on November 8-9 and was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Faculty. At the Conference Victor Gail made a presentation in Retrospective analysis of mass media reports on sports in Ekaterinburg in 1886-2024.
🤝 As a main result, a cooperation agreement for academic exchange between UrFU and the Faculty of Sport of “Union – Nikola Tesla” University was signed.
