📚الإمام الأعظم زيد بن علي عليهما السلام
ﻭﺑﺎﻹﺳﻨﺎﺩ اﻟﻤﻮﺛﻮﻕ ﺑﻪ ﻋﻦ ﺑﻌﻀﻬﻢ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﺃﺧﺒﺮﻧﻲ ﺃﺑﻮ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ اﻟﻮاﺳﻄﻲ، ﻭﺃﺑﻮ ﺣﻤﺰﺓ اﻟﺜﻤﺎﻟﻲ ﻗﺎﻻ: ﺣﺒﺮﻧﺎ ﺭﺳﺎﻟﺔ ﺭﺩا ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﺎﺱ، ﺛﻢ ﺇﻧﺎ ﺧﺮﺟﻨﺎ ﺇﻟﻰ اﻟﻤﺪﻳﻨﺔ، ﻓﺪﺧﻠﻨﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻓﻘﻠﻨﺎ ﻟﻪ: ﺟﻌﻠﻨﺎ ﻟﻚ اﻟﻔﺪا، ﺇﻧﺎ ﺣﺒﺮﻧﺎ ﺭﺳﺎﻟﺔ ﺭﺩا ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﺎﺱ ﻓﺎﻧﻈﺮ ﺇﻟﻴﻬﺎ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻓﺎﻗﺮﺅﻭﻫﺎ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻓﻘﺮﺃﻧﺎﻫﺎ، ﻓﻘﺎﻝ: ﻟﻘﺪ ﺃﺟﺪﺗﻢ ﻭاﺟﺘﻬﺪﺗﻢ، ﻓﻬﻞ ﺃﻗﺮﺃﺗﻤﻮﻫﺎ ﺯﻳﺪا؟ ﻗﻠﻨﺎ: ﻻ.
ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻓﺄﻗﺮﺅﻭﻫﺎ ﺯﻳﺪا، ﻭاﻧﻈﺮﻭا ﻣﺎ ﻳﺮﺩ ﻋﻠﻴﻜﻢ.
ﻗﺎﻝ ﻓﺪﺧﻠﻨﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺯﻳﺪ ﻓﻘﻠﻨﺎ ﻟﻪ: ﺟﻌﻠﻨﺎ ﻟﻚ اﻟﻔﺪا، ﺭﺳﺎﻟﺔ ﺣﺒﺮﻧﺎﻫﺎ ﺭﺩا ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﺎﺱ ﺟﺌﻨﺎﻙ ﺑﻬﺎ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﺇﻗﺮﺅﻭﻫﺎ، ﻓﻘﺮﺃﻧﺎﻫﺎ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﺣﺘﻰ ﺇﺫا ﻓﺮﻏﻨﺎ ﻣﻨﻬﺎ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻳﺎ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺣﻤﺰﺓ ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﻳﺎ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ
ﻟﻘﺪ اﺟﺘﻬﺪﺗﻢ، ﻭﻟﻜﻨﻬﺎ ﺗﻜﺴﺮ ﻋﻠﻴﻜﻢ: ﺃﻣﺎ اﻟﺤﺮﻑ اﻷﻭﻝ ﻓﺎﻟﺮﺩ ﻓﻴﻪ ﻛﺬا، ﻓﻤﺎ ﺯاﻝ ﻳﺮﺩﺩﻫﺎ ﺣﺘﻰ ﻓﺮﻍ ﻣﻦ ﺁﺧﺮﻫﺎ ﺣﺮﻓﺎ ﺣﺮﻓﺎ، ﻓﻮاﻟﻠﻪ ﻣﺎ ﻧﺪﺭﻱ ﻣﻦ ﺃﻱ ﺷﻲء ﻧﻌﺠﺐ ﻣﻦ ﺣﻔﻈﻪ ﻟﻬﺎ ﺃﻭ ﻣﻦ ﻛﺴﺮﻫﺎ؟ ﺛﻢ ﺃﻋﻄﺎﻧﺎ ﺟﻤﻠﺔ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻜﻼﻡ ﻧﻌﺮﻑ ﺑﻪ اﻟﺮﺩ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﺎﺱ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻓﺮﺟﻌﻨﺎ ﺇﻟﻰ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻓﺄﺧﺒﺮﻧﺎﻩ ﻣﺎ ﻛﺎﻥ ﻣﻦ ﺯﻳﺪ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻳﺎ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ، ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﻳﺎﺃﺑﺎ ﺣﻤﺰﺓ، ﺇﻥ ﺃﺑﻲ ﺩﻋﺎ ﺯﻳﺪا، ﻓﺎﺳﺘﻘﺮﺃﻩ اﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﻓﻘﺮﺃ، ﻭﺳﺄﻟﻪ ﻋﻦ اﻟﻤﻌﻀﻼﺕ ﻓﺄﺟﺎﺏ، ﺛﻢ ﺩﻋﺎ ﻟﻪ ﻭﻗﺒﻞ ﺑﻴﻦ ﻋﻴﻨﻴﻪ، ﺛﻢ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻳﺎ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ، ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﻳﺎ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺣﻤﺰﺓ، ﺇﻥ ﺯﻳﺪا ﺃﻋﻄﻲ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻌﻠﻢ ﻋﻠﻴﻨﺎ ﺑﺴﻄﺔ.
ﻭﺭﻭﻳﻨﺎ ﻋﻦ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ ﺑﻦ ﺻﻔﻮاﻥ اﻟﻴﻤﺎﻣﻲ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﺃﺗﻴﻨﺎ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻭﻫﻮ ﻳﻮﻣﺌﺬ ﺑﺎﻟﺮﺻﺎﻓﺔ؛ ﺭﺻﺎﻓﺔ ﻫﺸﺎﻡ ﺑﻦ ﻋﺒﺪ اﻟﻤﻠﻚ، ﻓﺪﺧﻠﻨﺎ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻓﻲ ﻧﻔﺮ ﻣﻦ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺸﺎﻡ ﻭﻋﻠﻤﺎﺋﻬﻢ، ﻭﺟﺂءﻭا ﻣﻌﻬﻢ ﺑﺮﺟﻞ ﻗﺪ اﻧﻘﺎﺩ ﻟﻪ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺸﺎﻡ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺒﻼﻏﺔ ﻭاﻟﺒﺼﺮ ﺑﺎﻟﺤﺠﺞ، ﻭﻛﻠﻤﻨﺎ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﺔ، ﻭﻗﻠﻨﺎ: ﺇﻥ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻣﻊ اﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﺔ، ﻭﺇﻥ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﺔ ﺣﺠﺔ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺧﻠﻘﻪ، ﻭﺇﻥ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﻘﻠﺔ ﻫﻢ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺒﺪﻋﺔ ﻭاﻟﻀﻼﻟﺔ.
ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻓﺤﻤﺪ اﻟﻠﻪ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻭﺃﺛﻨﻰ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺻﻠﻰ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺻﻠﻰ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺁﻟﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ، ﺛﻢ ﺗﻜﻠﻢ ﺑﻜﻼﻡ ﻣﺎ ﺳﻤﻌﺖ ﻗﺮﺷﻴﺎ ﻭﻻ ﻋﺮﺑﻴﺎ ﺃﺑﻠﻎ ﻓﻲ ﻣﻮﻋﻈﺔ، ﻭﻻ ﺃﻇﻬﺮ ﺣﺠﺔ، ﻭﻻ ﺃﻓﺼﺢ ﻟﻬﺠﺔ ﻣﻨﻪ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﺛﻢ ﺃﺧﺮﺝ ﺇﻟﻴﻨﺎ ﻛﺘﺎﺑﺎ ﻗﺎﻟﻪ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﺔ ﻭاﻟﻘﻠﺔ، ﺫﻛﺮﻩ ﻣﻦ ﻛﺘﺎﺏ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻓﻠﻢ ﻳﺬﻛﺮ ﻛﺜﻴﺮا ﺇﻻ ﺫﻣﻪ، ﻭﻟﻢ ﻳﺬﻛﺮ ﻗﻠﻴﻼ ﺇﻻ ﻣﺪﺣﻪ، ﻭاﻟﻘﻠﻴﻞ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻄﺎﻋﺔ ﻫﻢ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﺔ، ﻭاﻟﻜﺜﻴﺮ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻤﻌﺼﻴﺔ ﻫﻢ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺒﺪﻉ.
ﻗﺎﻝ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ ﺑﻦ ﺻﻔﻮاﻥ: ﻓﻴﺌﺲ اﻟﺸﺎﻣﻲ ﻓﻤﺎ ﺃﺣﻠﻰ ﻭﻻ ﺃﻣﺮ، ﻭﺳﻜﺖ اﻟﺸﺎﻣﻴﻮﻥ ﻓﻤﺎ ﻳﺠﻴﺒﻮﻥ ﺑﻘﻠﻴﻞ ﻭﻻ ﻛﺜﻴﺮ، ﺛﻢ ﻗﺎﻣﻮا ﻣﻦ ﻋﻨﺪﻩ ﻓﺨﺮﺟﻮا، ﻭﻗﺎﻟﻮا ﻟﺼﺎﺣﺒﻬﻢ: ﻓﻌﻞ اﻟﻠﻪ ﺑﻚ ﻭﻓﻌﻞ ﻏﺮﺭﺗﻨﺎ ﻭﻓﻌﻠﺖ ﻭﺯﻋﻤﺖ ﺃﻧﻚ ﻻ ﺗﺪﻉ ﻟﻪ ﺣﺠﺔ ﺇﻻ ﻛﺴﺮﺗﻬﺎ، ﻓﺨﺮﺳﺖ ﻓﻠﻢ ﺗﻨﻄﻖ، ﻓﻘﺎﻝ ﻟﻬﻢ: ﻭﻳﻠﻜﻢ ﻛﻴﻒ ﺃﻛﻠﻢ ﺭﺟﻼ ﺇﻧﻤﺎ ﺣﺎﺟﻨﻲ ﺑﻜﺘﺎﺏ اﻟﻠﻪ؟ ﺃﻓﺄﺳﺘﻄﻴﻊ ﺃﻥ ﺃﺭﺩ ﻛﻼﻡ اﻟﻠﻪ، ﻓﻜﺎﻥ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ ﺑﻦ ﺻﻔﻮاﻥ ﻳﻘﻮﻝ ﺑﻌﺪ ﺫﻟﻚ: ﻣﺎ ﺭﺃﻳﺖ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺪﻧﻴﺎ ﺭﺟﻼ ﻗﺮﺷﻴﺎ ﻭﻻ ﻋﺮﺑﻴﺎ ﻳﺰﻳﺪ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻌﻘﻞ ﻭاﻟﺤﺠﺞ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻋﻠﻴﻬﻤﺎ اﻟﺴﻼﻡ.
ﻭﺭﻭﻳﻨﺎ ﻋﻦ ﻋﺒﺪاﻟﻠﻪ ﺑﻦ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺑﻦ اﻟﺤﻨﻔﻴﺔ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻟﻮ ﻧﺰﻝ ﻋﻴﺴﻰ ﺑﻦ ﻣﺮﻳﻢ ﻷﺧﺒﺮﻛﻢ ﺃﻥ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﺧﻴﺮ ﻣﻦ ﻭﻃﻲء ﻋﻠﻰ ﻋﻔﺮ اﻟﺘﺮاﺏ، ﻭﻟﻘﺪ ﻋﻠﻢ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ اﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﻣﻦ ﺣﻴﺚ ﻟﻢ ﻳﻌﻠﻤﻪ ﺃﺑﻮ ﺟﻌﻔﺮ ﻗﺎﻝ ﻗﻠﺖ: ﻭﻛﻴﻒ ﺫاﻙ؟ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻷﻥ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺟﻌﻔﺮ ﺃﺧﺬﻩ ﻣﻦ ﺃﻓﻮاﻩ اﻟﺮﺟﺎﻝ، ﻭﺇﻥ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﺃﻋﻄﻲ ﻓﻬﻤﻪ.

ﻭﺑﺎﻹﺳﻨﺎﺩ اﻟﻤﻮﺛﻮﻕ ﺑﻪ ﻋﻦ ﺑﻌﻀﻬﻢ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﺃﺧﺒﺮﻧﻲ ﺃﺑﻮ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ اﻟﻮاﺳﻄﻲ، ﻭﺃﺑﻮ ﺣﻤﺰﺓ اﻟﺜﻤﺎﻟﻲ ﻗﺎﻻ: ﺣﺒﺮﻧﺎ ﺭﺳﺎﻟﺔ ﺭﺩا ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﺎﺱ، ﺛﻢ ﺇﻧﺎ ﺧﺮﺟﻨﺎ ﺇﻟﻰ اﻟﻤﺪﻳﻨﺔ، ﻓﺪﺧﻠﻨﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻓﻘﻠﻨﺎ ﻟﻪ: ﺟﻌﻠﻨﺎ ﻟﻚ اﻟﻔﺪا، ﺇﻧﺎ ﺣﺒﺮﻧﺎ ﺭﺳﺎﻟﺔ ﺭﺩا ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﺎﺱ ﻓﺎﻧﻈﺮ ﺇﻟﻴﻬﺎ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻓﺎﻗﺮﺅﻭﻫﺎ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻓﻘﺮﺃﻧﺎﻫﺎ، ﻓﻘﺎﻝ: ﻟﻘﺪ ﺃﺟﺪﺗﻢ ﻭاﺟﺘﻬﺪﺗﻢ، ﻓﻬﻞ ﺃﻗﺮﺃﺗﻤﻮﻫﺎ ﺯﻳﺪا؟ ﻗﻠﻨﺎ: ﻻ.
ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻓﺄﻗﺮﺅﻭﻫﺎ ﺯﻳﺪا، ﻭاﻧﻈﺮﻭا ﻣﺎ ﻳﺮﺩ ﻋﻠﻴﻜﻢ.
ﻗﺎﻝ ﻓﺪﺧﻠﻨﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺯﻳﺪ ﻓﻘﻠﻨﺎ ﻟﻪ: ﺟﻌﻠﻨﺎ ﻟﻚ اﻟﻔﺪا، ﺭﺳﺎﻟﺔ ﺣﺒﺮﻧﺎﻫﺎ ﺭﺩا ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﺎﺱ ﺟﺌﻨﺎﻙ ﺑﻬﺎ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﺇﻗﺮﺅﻭﻫﺎ، ﻓﻘﺮﺃﻧﺎﻫﺎ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﺣﺘﻰ ﺇﺫا ﻓﺮﻏﻨﺎ ﻣﻨﻬﺎ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻳﺎ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺣﻤﺰﺓ ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﻳﺎ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ
ﻟﻘﺪ اﺟﺘﻬﺪﺗﻢ، ﻭﻟﻜﻨﻬﺎ ﺗﻜﺴﺮ ﻋﻠﻴﻜﻢ: ﺃﻣﺎ اﻟﺤﺮﻑ اﻷﻭﻝ ﻓﺎﻟﺮﺩ ﻓﻴﻪ ﻛﺬا، ﻓﻤﺎ ﺯاﻝ ﻳﺮﺩﺩﻫﺎ ﺣﺘﻰ ﻓﺮﻍ ﻣﻦ ﺁﺧﺮﻫﺎ ﺣﺮﻓﺎ ﺣﺮﻓﺎ، ﻓﻮاﻟﻠﻪ ﻣﺎ ﻧﺪﺭﻱ ﻣﻦ ﺃﻱ ﺷﻲء ﻧﻌﺠﺐ ﻣﻦ ﺣﻔﻈﻪ ﻟﻬﺎ ﺃﻭ ﻣﻦ ﻛﺴﺮﻫﺎ؟ ﺛﻢ ﺃﻋﻄﺎﻧﺎ ﺟﻤﻠﺔ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻜﻼﻡ ﻧﻌﺮﻑ ﺑﻪ اﻟﺮﺩ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﺎﺱ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻓﺮﺟﻌﻨﺎ ﺇﻟﻰ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻓﺄﺧﺒﺮﻧﺎﻩ ﻣﺎ ﻛﺎﻥ ﻣﻦ ﺯﻳﺪ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻳﺎ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ، ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﻳﺎﺃﺑﺎ ﺣﻤﺰﺓ، ﺇﻥ ﺃﺑﻲ ﺩﻋﺎ ﺯﻳﺪا، ﻓﺎﺳﺘﻘﺮﺃﻩ اﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﻓﻘﺮﺃ، ﻭﺳﺄﻟﻪ ﻋﻦ اﻟﻤﻌﻀﻼﺕ ﻓﺄﺟﺎﺏ، ﺛﻢ ﺩﻋﺎ ﻟﻪ ﻭﻗﺒﻞ ﺑﻴﻦ ﻋﻴﻨﻴﻪ، ﺛﻢ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻳﺎ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ، ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﻳﺎ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺣﻤﺰﺓ، ﺇﻥ ﺯﻳﺪا ﺃﻋﻄﻲ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻌﻠﻢ ﻋﻠﻴﻨﺎ ﺑﺴﻄﺔ.
ﻭﺭﻭﻳﻨﺎ ﻋﻦ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ ﺑﻦ ﺻﻔﻮاﻥ اﻟﻴﻤﺎﻣﻲ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﺃﺗﻴﻨﺎ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻭﻫﻮ ﻳﻮﻣﺌﺬ ﺑﺎﻟﺮﺻﺎﻓﺔ؛ ﺭﺻﺎﻓﺔ ﻫﺸﺎﻡ ﺑﻦ ﻋﺒﺪ اﻟﻤﻠﻚ، ﻓﺪﺧﻠﻨﺎ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻓﻲ ﻧﻔﺮ ﻣﻦ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺸﺎﻡ ﻭﻋﻠﻤﺎﺋﻬﻢ، ﻭﺟﺂءﻭا ﻣﻌﻬﻢ ﺑﺮﺟﻞ ﻗﺪ اﻧﻘﺎﺩ ﻟﻪ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺸﺎﻡ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺒﻼﻏﺔ ﻭاﻟﺒﺼﺮ ﺑﺎﻟﺤﺠﺞ، ﻭﻛﻠﻤﻨﺎ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﺔ، ﻭﻗﻠﻨﺎ: ﺇﻥ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻣﻊ اﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﺔ، ﻭﺇﻥ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﺔ ﺣﺠﺔ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺧﻠﻘﻪ، ﻭﺇﻥ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﻘﻠﺔ ﻫﻢ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺒﺪﻋﺔ ﻭاﻟﻀﻼﻟﺔ.
ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻓﺤﻤﺪ اﻟﻠﻪ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻭﺃﺛﻨﻰ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺻﻠﻰ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺻﻠﻰ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺁﻟﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ، ﺛﻢ ﺗﻜﻠﻢ ﺑﻜﻼﻡ ﻣﺎ ﺳﻤﻌﺖ ﻗﺮﺷﻴﺎ ﻭﻻ ﻋﺮﺑﻴﺎ ﺃﺑﻠﻎ ﻓﻲ ﻣﻮﻋﻈﺔ، ﻭﻻ ﺃﻇﻬﺮ ﺣﺠﺔ، ﻭﻻ ﺃﻓﺼﺢ ﻟﻬﺠﺔ ﻣﻨﻪ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﺛﻢ ﺃﺧﺮﺝ ﺇﻟﻴﻨﺎ ﻛﺘﺎﺑﺎ ﻗﺎﻟﻪ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﺔ ﻭاﻟﻘﻠﺔ، ﺫﻛﺮﻩ ﻣﻦ ﻛﺘﺎﺏ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻓﻠﻢ ﻳﺬﻛﺮ ﻛﺜﻴﺮا ﺇﻻ ﺫﻣﻪ، ﻭﻟﻢ ﻳﺬﻛﺮ ﻗﻠﻴﻼ ﺇﻻ ﻣﺪﺣﻪ، ﻭاﻟﻘﻠﻴﻞ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻄﺎﻋﺔ ﻫﻢ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﺔ، ﻭاﻟﻜﺜﻴﺮ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻤﻌﺼﻴﺔ ﻫﻢ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺒﺪﻉ.
ﻗﺎﻝ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ ﺑﻦ ﺻﻔﻮاﻥ: ﻓﻴﺌﺲ اﻟﺸﺎﻣﻲ ﻓﻤﺎ ﺃﺣﻠﻰ ﻭﻻ ﺃﻣﺮ، ﻭﺳﻜﺖ اﻟﺸﺎﻣﻴﻮﻥ ﻓﻤﺎ ﻳﺠﻴﺒﻮﻥ ﺑﻘﻠﻴﻞ ﻭﻻ ﻛﺜﻴﺮ، ﺛﻢ ﻗﺎﻣﻮا ﻣﻦ ﻋﻨﺪﻩ ﻓﺨﺮﺟﻮا، ﻭﻗﺎﻟﻮا ﻟﺼﺎﺣﺒﻬﻢ: ﻓﻌﻞ اﻟﻠﻪ ﺑﻚ ﻭﻓﻌﻞ ﻏﺮﺭﺗﻨﺎ ﻭﻓﻌﻠﺖ ﻭﺯﻋﻤﺖ ﺃﻧﻚ ﻻ ﺗﺪﻉ ﻟﻪ ﺣﺠﺔ ﺇﻻ ﻛﺴﺮﺗﻬﺎ، ﻓﺨﺮﺳﺖ ﻓﻠﻢ ﺗﻨﻄﻖ، ﻓﻘﺎﻝ ﻟﻬﻢ: ﻭﻳﻠﻜﻢ ﻛﻴﻒ ﺃﻛﻠﻢ ﺭﺟﻼ ﺇﻧﻤﺎ ﺣﺎﺟﻨﻲ ﺑﻜﺘﺎﺏ اﻟﻠﻪ؟ ﺃﻓﺄﺳﺘﻄﻴﻊ ﺃﻥ ﺃﺭﺩ ﻛﻼﻡ اﻟﻠﻪ، ﻓﻜﺎﻥ ﺧﺎﻟﺪ ﺑﻦ ﺻﻔﻮاﻥ ﻳﻘﻮﻝ ﺑﻌﺪ ﺫﻟﻚ: ﻣﺎ ﺭﺃﻳﺖ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺪﻧﻴﺎ ﺭﺟﻼ ﻗﺮﺷﻴﺎ ﻭﻻ ﻋﺮﺑﻴﺎ ﻳﺰﻳﺪ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻌﻘﻞ ﻭاﻟﺤﺠﺞ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﻋﻠﻴﻬﻤﺎ اﻟﺴﻼﻡ.
ﻭﺭﻭﻳﻨﺎ ﻋﻦ ﻋﺒﺪاﻟﻠﻪ ﺑﻦ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺑﻦ اﻟﺤﻨﻔﻴﺔ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻟﻮ ﻧﺰﻝ ﻋﻴﺴﻰ ﺑﻦ ﻣﺮﻳﻢ ﻷﺧﺒﺮﻛﻢ ﺃﻥ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﺧﻴﺮ ﻣﻦ ﻭﻃﻲء ﻋﻠﻰ ﻋﻔﺮ اﻟﺘﺮاﺏ، ﻭﻟﻘﺪ ﻋﻠﻢ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ اﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﻣﻦ ﺣﻴﺚ ﻟﻢ ﻳﻌﻠﻤﻪ ﺃﺑﻮ ﺟﻌﻔﺮ ﻗﺎﻝ ﻗﻠﺖ: ﻭﻛﻴﻒ ﺫاﻙ؟ ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻷﻥ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺟﻌﻔﺮ ﺃﺧﺬﻩ ﻣﻦ ﺃﻓﻮاﻩ اﻟﺮﺟﺎﻝ، ﻭﺇﻥ ﺯﻳﺪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﺃﻋﻄﻲ ﻓﻬﻤﻪ.
