Just as the Bitcoin turmoil continues, crypto traders have taken to Telegram to voice their feelings. Crypto investors can reduce their anxiety about losses by joining the “Bear Market Screaming Therapy Group” on Telegram. Ng was convicted in April for conspiracy to incite a riot, public nuisance, arson, criminal damage, manufacturing of explosives, administering poison and wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm between October 2019 and June 2020. Earlier, crypto enthusiasts had created a self-described “meme app” dubbed “gm” app wherein users would greet each other with “gm” or “good morning” messages. However, in September 2021, the gm app was down after a hacker reportedly gained access to the user data. "Doxxing content is forbidden on Telegram and our moderators routinely remove such content from around the world," said a spokesman for the messaging app, Remi Vaughn. Although some crypto traders have moved toward screaming as a coping mechanism, several mental health experts call this therapy a pseudoscience. The crypto community finds its way to engage in one or the other way and share its feelings with other fellow members.
