لزوم تناسب محتوا با مخاطب: وقتی یک محتوای سخنرانی یا جلسه با نیازها، انتظارات یا روحیه مخاطب همخوانی نداشته باشد، تأثیرگذار نبوده و مخاطب قادر به دریافت یا فهم پیام آن نخواهد بود.
در مجالس مذهبی یا جلسات دیگر، باید مراقب بود که نوع و موضوع سخنرانی با شرایط حاضر هماهنگ باشد. مثلاً در شب شهادت یک شخصیت مذهبی، محتوا باید با موضوع شهادت و ویژگی‌های آن شخصیت مرتبط باشد تا بر روی مخاطب تاثیرگذار باشد.
