The latest stable BGram update made a huge mess. Here are answers to some frequently asked questions.

— Hidden Read (ghost) mode is gone. Will it be back?
— No. Here's the explanation.

— Where are my tabs?! 😡 I've spent so much time setting them up...
— Tabs are gone, but now there are Folders.

— I don't see any Folders.
— Here they are.

— So I need to set up everything from scratch?
— Yes. That's one small step for a man, one giant... You know. Here's a guide. Also look through B-Settings. Believe me, it won't take much time.

— Can I have icons for Folders like before?
— Yes you can. See this.

— Can I move Folders to the bottom or place them to the right?
— No. You've got to wait. Yes, you can.

— How do I mark all chats as read now?
— The way it can be done even in the official client: hold the version number in Settings twice, then select Mark All Chats as Read.

— How do I access the Archive?
— Drag down the floating Saved Messages / New Chat button (by the way, dragging it up will open Search).

— I don't like this update.
I want Hidden Read and old (unsynchronized) Tabs back 🧐
— You can install the previous version and restore everything from a backup if you have one.

— Where can I download the old version of BGram?
— Here.

— I have no backups.
— Then you'll still need to set up everything from scratch. Maybe it's better to do that in the new version? 😉

— Why do developers treat users like this?
— We've made our best to notify users (changelogs in Play Store and official channels). We can't turn off auto-updates on your phone. What do you want from us then?

— Why destroy something that worked so well?
— It's not about destroying, it's about upgrading. After you set up the Folders, you'll realize it's better now and feel sorry for your behavior.

— BGram is now useless! You've deleted all the best features: Hidden Read, Hidden Typing and... That's all.. 😳
— No one forces you to use it... traitors.

— Most of the old settings are gone!
— Not most of them, only the ones controlling Hidden Read and (temporarily) Tabs. So did you want a quick update or a 100% ready app in the end of the year? Everything will be added gradually, little by little. For now we suggest that you stop arguing and deal with Folders.
