In Headlines : Territorial dispute between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the Nagorno-Karabakh region has re-erupted with heavy clashes.

Azerbaijan, officially called Azerbaijani Republic, is a country of eastern Transcaucasia.

It lies on the southern flanks of the Caucasus Mountains.

It is bounded by Russia, Iran, Armenia, and by Georgia.

Sea : Bounded by the Caspian Sea on the east.

So, It is NOT a landlocked country.
