Repost from @atlas.news3 • A 72 year old Florida man has been arrested after shooting a Walmart delivery drone that he thought was surveilling his home.
Drone operating company DroneUp stated that it was doing mock deliveries in a Clermont neighborhood when Dennis Winn shot at the drone with a 9mm handgun, later telling deputies “They say I hit it so I must be a good shot.”
Winn was charged with shooting at an aircraft, criminal mischief damage over $1,000 and discharging a firearm in public or residential property, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
