Великая победа ВС РФ и КНА над украинскими неонацистскими формированиями в Курской области, состоявшаяся в преддверии 80-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной войне, вызвала глубокий отклик в сердцах всего российского народа. В честь этого знаменательного события 30 апреля 2025 года состоялось расширенное заседание Правления Российского общества дружбы и культурного сотрудничества с КНДР в составе Международной Группы солидарности.
В заседании приняли участие члены Правления, активисты местных и региональных отделений Общества, а также представители Посольства КНДР.
Также участвовали — МАФМ, КОСАРЁН, Совет ветеранов Корейской войны, Международный центр противодействия преступности и терроризму.
В качестве наблюдателей присутствовали представители КПРФ, ЛКСМ, Американской коммунистической партии (ACP), движения «Жожеки», волонтёрского объединения «Красный доброволец», САФ, РПЦ, МСА, МДКМ и других организаций.

Oldest Organization of Friendship with DPRK Restored Line of Succession

On April 30, 2025, the "Declaration on the Continuity of the Movement of International Solidarity with the DPRK" was signed, restoring the line of succession broken by Boris Yeltsin.
The declaration was signed by the Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group and the Chairman of the Board of the Russian Society of Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK.
Thus, on July 16, 2025, the DPRK ISG will celebrate its 67th anniversary.

"On April 7, 1993, Rear Admiral Vladimir Tolstikov, together with the Hero pilots of the Soviet Union, re-established the Soviet-Korean Friendship Society as the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK (hereinafter referred to as the Russian Friendship Society). However, due to the peculiarities of Yeltsin's legislation, the line of succession was never properly secured.
On July 17, 2023, at the 2nd International Congress of Solidarity, the historic unification of the Russian Friendship Society and the International Solidarity Group with the DPRK (hereinafter referred to as DPRK ISG) took place. Having become a full member of the DPRK ISG, the Russian Society significantly strengthened its position, receiving a website, regional committees in different regions of Russia and many primary cells in the form of "friendship clubs with the DPRK" in many universities of this country.
Having entered a new stage of development side by side, the DPRK ISG and the Russian Friendship Society, considering their goal to restore historical justice and educate a new generation of activists in the spirit of veterans of public diplomacy, proclaim the continuity of the Soviet-Korean Friendship Society and continue their common history from the date of its foundation - July 16, 1958."

Armenian Solidarity Group with DPRK Supports Anti-Fascist Struggle of Korean People

On May 1, Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG and Director of the Asia Department of the IAPF, met with the leading figures of the Armenian Komsomol, who recently formed the Armenian Executive Committee and established the Armenian Solidarity Group with the DPRK.
The Armenian side was represented by the First Secretary of the Armenian Komsomol, Head of the Armenian Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG, Comrade Karen Shakhnikyan and activist Hrayr Dadikyan.
The Armenian figures expressed sincere interest in the projects of the DPRK ISG and the IAPF. They emphasized that the Armenian Komsomol is already ready to sign a cooperation agreement. They also conveyed greetings and warm wishes to Sergei Nikolaevich Baburin, expressing their solidarity with his just peacekeeping cause.

Alexander Mostov, Director of the Asian Department of the International Association of Peace Foundations, held a working meeting with the International Secretary of the People's Democratic Party, the official representative of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform and the International Secretary of the American Communist Party.
During the meeting, the situation in the Asian-Pacific Region, which is deteriorating hour by hour due to the provocative actions of the US imperialists, and other working issues were discussed.
Representatives of the WAP and the PDP presented A. Mostov with magazines and newspapers telling about the just struggle of the people of the Republic of Korea for democratization and achieving national independence, as well as brochures about the activities of the international anti-imperialist movement.
Having agreed to establish a direct dialogue with the IAPF, the participants of the meeting took a photo for memory.

As part of the campaign to demarginalize the movement of international solidarity with the DPRK, the Belarusian Executive Committee has been re-established.
Comrade Irina Maliuk has been appointed head of the Belarusian Executive Committee and nominated as a candidate for membership in the Central Committee of our organization.
