شرکت T-Mobile اعلام کرد که قابلیت ماهواره‌ای استارلینک اکنون به‌صورت آزمایش عمومی در دسترس قرار دارد؛ بدین معنی که هر کاربر آمریکایی می‌تواند برای آزمایش اتصال خارج از شبکه ثبت‌نام کند، حتی اگر از اپراتور دیگری مانند AT&T یا Verizon استفاده کند. کاربرانی که در طرح آزمایشی ثبت‌نام می‌کنند، می‌توانند تا ماه جولای (تیر و مرداد) به‌صورت رایگان از اتصال ماهواره‌ای استارلینک استفاده کنند. پس از آن، مشتریان T-Mobile با طرح Go5G Next یا طرح واجد شرایط دیگر، همچنان بدون هزینه‌ی اضافی به اتصال ماهواره‌ای دسترسی خواهند داشت.
