25-dars. Oʻtgan tugallanga zamon (The twenty fifth lesson: Past perfect tense)

Past perfect tense - faoliyat o‘tgan zamonning ma'lum bir vaqtigacha tugallangan ish-harakat ga aytiladi.
Past perfect tense - zamonini yasashda "To have" fe'lining o‘tgan zamon shakli "had" orqali yasaladi.

Past perfect tense zamonining yasalish formulasi:

Postive: S+had+V3Ved
Negative: S+had+not+V3Ved
Question: Had+S+V3Ved.

Past perfect tense zamonining signal so‘zlari:
By that time - o‘shangacha
By then - o‘shangacha
By...yesterday - kecha...gacha
No sooner - ulgurmay
After - keyin
Before - oldin
By the time - ulgurmay
Until - ... gacha
Till - ... gacha
As soon as -... gach, bilanoq

Past perfect tense zamonining ishlatilish holatlari:

1. O‘tmishdagi ma'lum bir ish harakat, yoki ma'lum bir vaqtdan oldin sodir bo‘lganish harakatlarni ifodalash uchun past perfect tense zamoni ishlatiladi.
Eg. Amanda looked tired whenwe met, because she hadn't slept well.

2. O‘tmishdagi ma'lum bir vaqtdan oldin sodir bo‘lgan va natijasi o‘sha o‘tmishdagi vaqtda ko‘rinib turgan ish harakatlarni ifodalash uchun past perfect tense zamoni ishlatiladi.
Eg. He was happy. He had signed an important contract.

3. Quyidagi holatda ya'ni strukturada ham past perfect tense zamoni ishlatiladi.
This/it was the+first www.tgoop.com/second www.tgoop.com/third time+past perfect.
Eg. It was the second time Jack had shouted at Amanda. She was angry.

Note: Agar yuqoridagi struktura "It/this is..." deb boshlanganda present perfect zamonida ishlatilar edi.

4. Hardly, scarcely, barely - bazo‘r, arang, zo‘rg‘a signal so‘zlari qatnashgan gaplarda asosan past perfect zamoni ishlatiladi.
Eg. I had arrived at home when Jill phoned.
