43-dars. If'li gaplarning 2 va 3-turlari (The forty third lesson: Second and third conditionals)
🟢 Second conditional noreal, sodir boʻlmaydigan va sodir boʻlish ehtimolligi juda kam boʻlgan ish harakatlarni ifodalaydi.
Struktura:
1) If+S+past simple/past continuous,+S+would/should/could/might+V1/Ving
2) If+S+were,+S+would/should/could/might+V1/Ving
Eg. If we had more money, we would buy a BMW. Eg. If I were rich, I would help the poor.
Note!
"But" va "unfortunately" soʻzlaridan keyin present zamon kelsa, undan oldin second conditional ishlatiladi.
Eg. If she knew English, she would speak to me, but she doesn't.
🟢 Agar if'li qismda hozirgi zamon payt ravishlari (now, at the moment, today, this week, at present) ishtirok etgan boʻlsa, bu holatda if'li qismda past simple/past continuous dan foydalanamiz.
Eg. If he were here now, he would show me the city.
🟢 Third conditional noreal, oʻtgan zamonda sodir boʻlmagan ish harakatni hozirgi zamonda tasavvur qilib "agarda shu ishni qilganimda, ... boʻlgan boʻlardi" deb tarjima qilinadi. Yoki shuning teskarisi: oʻtgan zamonda sodir boʻlgan ish harakatni hozirgi zamonda tasavvur qilib "agarda shu ishni qilmaganimda, ... boʻlgan boʻlardi" deb tarjima qilinadi.
Struktura:
If+S+past perfect/past perfect continuous,+S+would/should/could/might+V3/Ved/Ving
Eg. If we hadn't studied hard, we wouldn't have entered university last year.
🟢 "But for" — "boʻlmaganda edi" deb tarjima qilinganda, ular "if were not for" yoki "if it had not been for" ga teng boʻladi va third conditional bilan ishlatiladi.
Eg. But for these interruptions, the meeting would have finished earlier.
