51-dars. Enough va too so'zlarining sifat va ravishlar bilan qo'llanishi (The fifty first lesson: Use of enough and too with adjectives and adverbs)
🟢 Enough - yetarli(cha) degan ma'noda qoʻllaniladi va qaysi soʻz turkumi bilan qoʻllanilishiga qarab gapdagi joyi oʻzgaradi.
✅ adjective and adverb+ enough
✅ enough+ noun
🟢 Yuqoridagi qurilmadan ham bilsa boʻladiki, enough soʻzi sifat va ravishlardan keyin, otlardan oldin keladi.
Eg. I can't run very far. I am not fit enough. (Men juda uzoqqa yugurolmayman. Men yetarlicha sog'lom emasman...sifat+enough)
Eg. Let's go. We have waited long enough. (Ketdik. Biz yetarlicha uzoq kutdik...ravish+enough)
Eg. I can't run very far. I haven't got enough energy. (Men juda uzoqqa yugurolmayman. Menda yetarlicha kuch yoʻq...enough+ot)
🟢 Too- juda, o'ta degan ma'noda sifat va ravishlardan oldin kelib, ularning ma'nosini kuchaytiradi.
Eg. You never stop working. You work too hard. (Siz hech qachon ishlashni toʻxtatmaysiz. Siz juda qattiq ishlaysiz...too+ravish)
Eg. I can't understand him. He speaks too quickly. (Men uni tushuna olmayman. U juda tez gapiradi...too+ravish)
🟢 Too+sifat+a/an+birlikdagi ot qurilmasiga e'tibor bering.
Eg. It is too urgent a matter to postpone. (Bu kechiktirish uchun juda muhim masal - kechiktirib bo'lmaydi degan m'anoda)
✅Qiyoshlash uchun:
Eg. He speaks very quickly. (...juda tez gapiradi, lekin tushunsa boʻladi)
Eg. He speaks too quickly. (...juda tez gapiradi, tushunib boʻlmaydi.)
🟢 Too many/too much iboralari otlar oldidan juda koʻp degan ma'noni bildirib keladi.
Eg. There is too much furniture in this room. There isn't enough space. (juda ko'p mebel, too much+sanalmaydigan ot)
Eg. There were too many people and not enough chairs. (juda ko'p odam, too many+sanaladigan ko'plikdagi ot)
✅ Too va not...enough soʻzlarini gaplarda qiyoslaymiz. Ular odatda bir-biriga antonim ma'no beradi.
Eg. You never stop working. You work too hard. (yetarlidan ortiq qattiq ishlaysiz.)
Eg. You are lazy. You don't work hard enough. (yetarlicha qattiq ishlamaysiz)
🟢 Enough soʻzi yolg'iz oʻzi oldin tilga olingan otni takrorlamaslik uchun ham qoʻllaniladi.
Eg. We don't need any more money. We have got enough. (=enough money)
🟢 Quyidagi qurilmalarga e'tibor bering:
Enough/too...for somebody/something
Eg. We haven't got enough money for a holiday. (ta'til uchun)
Eg. Is Joe experienced enough for the job?
Eg. This shirt is too big for me. I need a smaller size.
Enough/too...to do something
Eg. We haven't got enough money to go on holiday. (ta'tilga ketish uchun)
Eg. Is Joe experienced enough to do the job?
Eg. They are too young to get married.
Eg. They are not old enough to get married.
🟢 Quyidagi misollarda too va enough soʻzlarining infinitiv bilan qoʻllanishiga e'tibor bering.
Eg. These boxes are too heavy to carry. (...to carry them emas)
Eg. This chair is not strong enough to stand on. (to stand on it emas)
