On January 6th, we at Wondfo Biotech had the privilege of hosting two distinguished Ethiopian physicians: Dr. Ahmed Reja, President of the Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism Ethiopia, and Dr. Getahun Tarekegn, President of the Ethiopian Diabetes Association. As part of an academic exchange program fostering Sino-African cooperation in laboratory medicine, the delegation visited The Third Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in China.

The visit highlighted the hospital’s cutting-edge advancements in laboratory testing, which integrate traditional Chinese medicine with modern medical practices. Dr. Zhao Kewei, Director of the Laboratory Department, guided the delegation through the hospital’s innovative practices, sharing insights into automated equipment and quality control measures.

Key discussions centered around:
✔️ Building medical testing laboratories
✔️ Applying innovative technologies
✔️ Talent cultivation for laboratory medicine

Dr. Ahmed and Dr. Getahun praised the transformative potential of these innovations for Ethiopia and other African nations, emphasizing their ability to enhance medical services and bridge healthcare gaps.

End-to-end encryption is an important feature in messaging, as it's the first step in protecting users from surveillance. Developing social channels based on exchanging a single message isn’t exactly new, of course. Back in 2014, the “Yo” app was launched with the sole purpose of enabling users to send each other the greeting “Yo.” So far, more than a dozen different members have contributed to the group, posting voice notes of themselves screaming, yelling, groaning, and wailing in various pitches and rhythms. While some crypto traders move toward screaming as a coping mechanism, many mental health experts have argued that “scream therapy” is pseudoscience. Scientific research or no, it obviously feels good. Find your optimal posting schedule and stick to it. The peak posting times include 8 am, 6 pm, and 8 pm on social media. Try to publish serious stuff in the morning and leave less demanding content later in the day.
