اولا الطريقه الاعتياديه :

هي الطريقه التقليديه للاخبار عن الوقت حيث يكون فيها اليوم مقسم الي جزئين كل جزء 12 ساعه:
الجزء الاول يبدا من الساعه الثانيه عشر بعد منتصف الليل (midnight) الي الساعه الثانيه عشر ظهرا (noon)
الجزء الثاني يبدا من الثانيه عشر ظهرا الي منتصف الليل

امثله لكيفية التعبير عن الوقت :
الساعه الثالثه تماما it's three o'clock
الساعه الثالثه وخمسه دقائق its five past three
الساعه الثاله وعشر دقائق its ten past three
الساعه الثالثه وربع it's a quarter past three
الساعه الثالثه وعشرون دقيقه twente past three
الساعه الثالثه وخمس وعشرون دقيقه twente five past three
الساعه الثالثه وتسع وعشرون دقيقه twente-nine minutes past three
الساعه الثالثه والنصف half past three
الساعه الثالثه وخمس وثلاثون دقيقه thirte five past thre
الساعه الثالثه وتسعه واربعون دقيقه forte-nine minutes past three
