The final stage of Nimiq's Proof of Stake migration kicks off on November 19!
Validator operators: Follow the steps in our guide 👈
If you’re not a validator operator, you can relax! Your $NIM will remain safe, and your wallet will function as usual post-migration.

To ensure a smooth transition, the Nimiq Wallet will:
1. Display a warning 1 hour before activation.
2. Temporarily disable transactions during the migration.
3. Transactions will resume 1 hour after the migration finishes.
1. App updates depend on Google and Apple approvals, which might take a few days to go live.
2. To avoid disruptions, withdraw your funds to a Nimiq Wallet before migration.
3. Bitcoin Lightning Payments will be paused until the new version goes live.
Exchanges supporting $NIM will:
1. Pause deposits and withdrawals 24 hours before migration.
2. Resume operations once the network stabilizes post-migration.
