And be patient with what befalls you.
Al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Patience is a treasure trove of goodness that Allah, the Almighty, gives only to a servant who is generous to Him.
O Allah, make us among those who are patient, content, and seek reward.

Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

At-Tur 52:13
The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say],
At-Tur 52:14
"This is the Fire which you used to deny.
At-Tur 52:15
Then is this magic, or do you not see?
At-Tur 52:16
[Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do."

Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah):
Dhikr for the heart is similar to what water is for the fish.
So what would the state of the fish be if it departs the sea?

He said, "O my son, do not relate your vision to your brothers, lest they plot against you."
Don't mention your blessings to everyone, for not everyone who listens to you will love you. And don't be an open book available to those around you, for some silence is safety!
O Allah, protect us from the evil of every spiteful and envious person and preserve us with Your protection.

And it is not [possible] for one to die except by permission of Allah at a decree determined. And whoever desires the reward of this world - We will give him thereof; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter - We will give him thereof. And we will reward the grateful.

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and will be cast into Hell, and his intestines will pour forth and he will go round them as a donkey goes round a millstone. The inmates of Hell will gather round him and say: 'What has happened to you, O so-and-so? Were you not enjoining us to do good and forbidding us to do evil?' He will reply: 'I was enjoining you to do good, but was not doing it myself; and I was forbidding you to do evil, but was doing it myself".

And your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied.
Have complete confidence that He will give you and satisfy you. Not just an ordinary gift, but a gift that will satisfy and satiate you.
O God, make us among those whom You have taken under Your care with mercy, with whom You are pleased, and whom You have honored with Your generosity.

▪️Nullifiers of Deeds
Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said:
“The things that nullify and corrupt deeds are too many to be counted. The real matter is not in doing the deed itself, but in preserving it from what can spoil it and render it void.
Riyā’ (showing off), even if subtle, nullifies the deed — and it has countless doors. Likewise, an action not bound by adherence to the Sunnah is invalid. Boasting inwardly to Allah about one’s deeds corrupts them, and so does boasting to people about charity, kindness, goodness, or maintaining ties of kinship.
As Allah ﷻ said:
‘O you who believe, do not invalidate your charities with reminders of generosity and with hurtful words.’
[al-Baqarah 2:264]
And most people are unaware of the sins that nullify their good deeds.”

Backbiting Muslims!
O’ believers! Avoid many suspicions, for indeed, some suspicions are sinful. And do not spy, nor backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of their dead brother? You would despise that.¹And fear Allāh. Surely Allāh is the Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful.
[Surah al-Hujurāt, al-āyah 12]
¹ Backbiting people is likened to eating their dead bodies. So if eating someone’s flesh is detestable, then backbiting them is no different.
Shaykh ul-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah said:
“Thus, the reason for its prohibition lies in the fact that he is a brother, a brother in faith. For this reason, the severity of backbiting increases in proportion to the believer’s rank: the greater his faith, the graver the sin of backbiting him!“
📔 [Majmū‘ al-Fatāwā, 6/62]

O believers! Be mindful of Allāh and let every soul look to what deeds it has sent forth for tomorrow. And fear Allāh, for certainly Allāh is All-Aware of what you do.
And do not be like those who forgot Allāh, so He made them forget themselves. It is they who are truly rebellious.
The residents of the Fire cannot be equal to the residents of Paradise. Only the residents of Paradise will be successful.
Had We sent down this Qurʾān upon a mountain, you would have certainly seen it humbled and torn apart in awe of Allāh. We set forth such comparisons for people, so perhaps they may reflect.
He is Allāh - there is no god worthy of worship except Him: Knower of the seen and unseen.
He is the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. He is Allāh - there is no god except Him: the King, the Most Holy, the All-Perfect, the Source of Serenity, the Watcher of all, the Almighty, the Supreme in Might, the Majestic. Glorified is Allāh far above what they associate with Him in worship!
He is Allāh: the Creator, the Inventor, the Shaper. He alone has the Most Beautiful Names. Whatever is in the heavens and the earth constantly glorifies Him. And He is the Almighty, All-Wise.
[Sūrah al-Ḥashr, Verse 18-24]
