Telegram channels enable users to broadcast messages to multiple users simultaneously. Like on social media, users need to subscribe to your channel to get access to your content published by one or more administrators. Just at this time, Bitcoin and the broader crypto market have dropped to new 2022 lows. The Bitcoin price has tanked 10 percent dropping to $20,000. On the other hand, the altcoin space is witnessing even more brutal correction. Bitcoin has dropped nearly 60 percent year-to-date and more than 70 percent since its all-time high in November 2021. For crypto enthusiasts, there was the βgmβ app, a self-described βmeme appβ which only allowed users to greet each other with βgm,β or βgood morning,β a common acronym thrown around on Crypto Twitter and Discord. But the gm app was shut down back in September after a hacker reportedly gained access to user data. Joined by Telegram's representative in Brazil, Alan Campos, Perekopsky noted the platform was unable to cater to some of the TSE requests due to the company's operational setup. But Perekopsky added that these requests could be studied for future implementation. Developing social channels based on exchanging a single message isnβt exactly new, of course. Back in 2014, the βYoβ app was launched with the sole purpose of enabling users to send each other the greeting βYo.β
