وهو مضاد حيوي Antibiotic موضعي يوقف نمو البكتريايستخدم لعلاج الجروح والتشققات ويتم استخدامه بشكل خاص لعلاج الالتهابات التي تسببها المكورات العنقودية الذهبية المقاومة للميثيسيللين ( MRSA ) ،لذلك يستخدم في علاج التهابات الجلد البكتيريه وعلاج انواع مختلفة من العدوى البكتيرية. يستعمل فى علاج التقرحات المؤلمة مثل الجروح الصغيرة كما يقوم بعلاج وخياطة الجروح التي تلوثت بالبكتيريا.
الأشكال الصيدلانية: متوفر على شكل كريم او مرهم(و ايضًا مراهم للانف) او لصقات بتركيز 2%.
موانع الاستخدام: لا يمكن استخدامه فتره الحمل والرضاعه والاشخاص الذين يعانون من فرط بالحساسية.
