گوگل در جدیدترین به‌روزرسانی خود برای اپلیکیشن Google Translate، از دو قابلیت نوین رونمایی کرد. نخست، ترجمه زنده (Live Translate) که امکان برقراری مکالمات آنی و دوطرفه را در بیش از ۷۰ زبان فراهم می‌کند. دوم، ابزار آموزش زبان (Practice) که با بهره‌گیری از هوش مصنوعی، تمرین‌های شخصی‌سازی‌شده در مهارت‌های شنیداری و گفتاری ارائه می‌دهد.

کاربران می‌توانند در بخش جدید این اپلیکیشن، زبان مقصد، سطح مهارت و اهداف یادگیری خود را تعیین کنند و بر اساس آن، دروس و تمرین‌های متناسب دریافت نمایند. این قابلیت‌ها در حال حاضر به‌صورت آزمایشی برای برخی زبان‌ها فعال شده و به‌عنوان گامی جدی در رقابت با پلتفرم‌های آموزش زبان شناخته می‌شود.
