College Inaugurates Modern Medical Waste Incinerator Donated by Japanese Government
In a significant step towards enhancing environmental sustainability and public health, a state-of-the-art medical waste incinerator donated by the Japanese government was inaugurated at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College on 5th Dec. 2024. The handover ceremony took place in the presence of the college’s leadership, who expressed gratitude for the generous support from Japan.
The newly installed incinerator boasts a capacity to process 70 kilograms of waste per hour, marking a pivotal modernization of the college's waste disposal system.
