An Aboriginal-led government-backed group reckons the Catholics owe $3.3 billion, for building schools, churches, hospitals and aged-care facilities on ‘stolen land’.

The Catholics are currently in some sort of legal battle with the ‘Yoorrook Justice Commission’, which on its website states its purpose is to ‘investigate the impacts of colonisation and land-theft’.

You can see why elements of government are so invested in this ‘land theft’ mantra, they expect it’ll be a standover method for seizing property and a lot of wealth, eventually making private ownership impossible.
