My dad had saved a branch when pruning his Chinese Toon tree a couple years back, with the intention of carving it and creating a walking stick.
Unfortunately his hands have lost the dexterity required for carving but after seeing me take up the chisel he eagerly asked me to create something for him.
I traced the stick and sketched up a few different animal heads to see what would fit well, given my father is quite the English gent, a badger seemed perfect!
He was overjoyed with the result and when he moved back to England recently, it went with him!
