While the majority of my carvings are heathen or nature related, I was inspired to create an icon of St Edmund for a good friend as a present for Yule 2024.
This was my second ever relief carving and I admit, I struggled and almost gave up a couple times!
But I persevered and am reasonably happy with the result.
It makes me very happy knowing this piece now resides in England, given he is the Patreon Saint of England! 🏴
