🇬🇧📜英國政府修訂處理港人庇護申請指引
英國政府於 9 月 29 日修訂內政部評估港人庇護及難民申請指引，更新對港區國安法的解釋及說明，亦記錄了部份國安法實施後針對社運人士的案件。新公佈指引中第 2.4.18 段有以下重要更新：
//當一個人能夠證明自己有可能被根據港區國安法逮捕和起訴，而刑罰是不相稱地嚴厲，那麼起訴就有可能構成迫害。處理每個庇護申請時應根據其具體情況加以考慮，申請人有責任證明自己經或有足夠原因將會成為國安法針對目標。//
🇬🇧📜The UK government has changed the guidance for making decisions in asylum applications from Hongkongers
On Sep 29, the UK government updated the guidance and information used by the Home Office to assess asylum and refugee claims. There is an important update that can be seen in paragraph 2.4.18:
“Where a person is able to demonstrate that they are likely to be arrested and prosecuted under the NSL and the punishment is disproportionately harsh, then the prosecution is likely to amount to persecution. Each case should be considered on its individual merits with the onus on the person to show that the NSL has or would reasonably be used against them.”
