Позиция "312" напротив Саргсашена, 19 сентября приняла бой против азербайджанских штурмовиков, часть из которых пыталась пройти между позициями "311" и "312" и выйти на трассу Степанакерт - Красный Базар.

Часть трофеев в виде оружия и снаряжения азербайджанских штурмовиков, большинство из которых погибли.

Позиция удерживалась вплоть до подписания капитуляции "спасителем генофонда", президентом 23 депутатов парламента НКР.
