$15,000 MRR 🎉

it's an 18% of the $1M ARR goal 🎯

last year, I assumed that our growth rate would slow down, but we continue to grow ~30% MoM

no funding, just one employee and a lot of energy to build something great

we just started 🚀

traveling made me realize how little stuff I need

I’m not a minimalist traveler—some people get by with a carry-on, but that’s not for me

I travel with luggage because I cross different climates and bring stuff that makes my life easier and better

→ portable smoothie maker, aeropress, yoga mat - makes my life easier and better
→ night lamp, music speaker my friends gifted me years ago - makes me feel at home
→ microphone, camera, drone, lights—to capture all the moments

back when I lived in a two-bedroom apartment, it was so easy to clutter, shop, and accumulate stuff I didn’t need
↳ having more space made it harder to resist.

but now, with just one suitcase and backpack, I feel like I have everything I truly need

and honestly, it feels freeing

no more stress or anxiety from having too much stuff

I’ve learned to be intentional about what I own

$20,000 MRR 🚀

it’s only been two months since SavvyNomad.io hit $10K MRR, and the growth has been crazy

thank you to all our customers—you’re the reason we’re here. you trust us, you pay us, and you make this possible

shoutout to my co-founder Jameson and everyone who has contributed along the way

you all made this happen

but let’s be real—I also owe a special thank you to my past employers. you’re the ones who pushed me to the point where I said, f*ck this, I’m done building someone else’s dream

you gave me the frustration, the exhaustion, and the undeniable rage to go all in

and to the investors who ghosted me during my previous startup?

who wasted my time, strung me along, and never even had the decency to give real feedback?

thank you

because you made one thing crystal clear—I never wanted to beg for permission again

I never wanted to be at someone else’s mercy. you helped me realize that bootstrapping was the way

that I don’t need you

so here we are. $20K MRR. just warming up

and finally—thank YOU

the one reading this. the one following and supporting my journey. it means more than you know ❤️

April is peak tax season—refund stress, filing panic, and a record wave of Americans Googling “how to leave the US”

demand has never been higher, and like patient surfers we’d been balanced on our boards, eyes on the horizon, ready to paddle the moment the swell arrived

to every customer who entrusts us with something as personal—and sensitive—as taxes: you’re the power behind this ride

→ this milestone also marks our new chapter

until now I ran every piece of marketing myself; from here on I’m delegating, bringing fresh hands onboard so SavvyNomad can scale faster and guide even more nomads to freedom

the next swell is already forming 🌊

we got our first 1-star review—and I’m proud of it

a customer was convinced we’d lost her Green Card
↳ understandably, she was stressed, disappointed, and quickly left us 1-star reviews everywhere (I would do the same)

turns out, the Green Card had just mistakenly landed in another office mailbox

after three intense days of constant communication and managing the issue as our top priority, we solved the mystery

seeing our efforts, the customer changed every one-star review into a glowing 5-star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

proud because great support isn’t about never making mistakes—it’s about how you handle them

since I was a kid, I dreamed of visiting the Amazon Forest 🌿

recently, that dream came true

I spent three days deep in the jungle - watching wild animals, fishing for piranhas, tasting fruits I’ve never seen before, and waking up to the sound of the forest.

it was raw, beautiful, and completely unforgettable

and yes - I brought my camera with me
