How to Create a Private or Public Channel on Telegram? Telegram Android app: Open the chats list, click the menu icon and select “New Channel.” To upload a logo, click the Menu icon and select “Manage Channel.” In a new window, hit the Camera icon. Earlier, crypto enthusiasts had created a self-described “meme app” dubbed “gm” app wherein users would greet each other with “gm” or “good morning” messages. However, in September 2021, the gm app was down after a hacker reportedly gained access to the user data. Among the requests, the Brazilian electoral Court wanted to know if they could obtain data on the origins of malicious content posted on the platform. According to the TSE, this would enable the authorities to track false content and identify the user responsible for publishing it in the first place.
