my wittle warforged was badly injured last session and was KO'd, resulting in the magical exterior dropping in an instant. Dorian's fine now, but the fake exterior is not coming back and nobody knows why. In the meantime my wittle wobot is having an identity crisis. :)c
(Little spoiler for my fellow players, don't read if you want to find out in game) Dorian is a transfem butch who hasn't come to terms with it yet. Being forced to live "out" as a machine is actually quite traumatic for her. She was instructed by her creator to never reveal her artificial nature. She had very little significant human interaction besides her creator, so she doesn't really have the words to understand that what she's feeling is a trans feeling.
