Uzbekcosmos detects nearly 2,000 illegal landfills!

According to the results of space monitoring conducted by the agency in the field of ecology this year, 1,928 illegal landfills covering an area of approximately 721 hectares have been identified across Uzbekistan. Among them, 123 landfills, with a total area of 255.5 hectares, were recorded as located outside designated waste storage sites, while 1,805 landfills, covering 465.2 hectares, were classified as unauthorized waste disposal sites.

Specifically, the illegal landfills were distributed as follows:
• Republic of Karakalpakstan: 243 landfills (63.2 hectares)
• Khorezm region: 168 (22 hectares)
• Bukhara region: 92 (91.7 hectares)
• Navoi region: 216 (112.4 hectares)
• Samarkand region: 147 (41.2 hectares)
• Kashkadarya region: 81 (79.3 hectares)
• Andijan region: 180 (42 hectares)
• Namangan region: 195 (65.2 hectares)
• Fergana region: 164 (51 hectares)
• Tashkent region: 363 (98.6 hectares)
• Jizzakh region: 39 (30.44 hectares)
• Surkhandarya region: 40 (20.11 hectares)

The creation of such illegal waste disposal sites poses significant environmental and ecological threats. These sites negatively impact the quality of soil, water, and air while also contributing to an increase in harmful insects, infectious diseases, lung cancer, and respiratory illnesses among the population.

How to Create a Private or Public Channel on Telegram? Earlier, crypto enthusiasts had created a self-described “meme app” dubbed “gm” app wherein users would greet each other with “gm” or “good morning” messages. However, in September 2021, the gm app was down after a hacker reportedly gained access to the user data. You can invite up to 200 people from your contacts to join your channel as the next step. Select the users you want to add and click “Invite.” You can skip this step altogether. It’s yet another bloodbath on Satoshi Street. As of press time, Bitcoin (BTC) and the broader cryptocurrency market have corrected another 10 percent amid a massive sell-off. Ethereum (EHT) is down a staggering 15 percent moving close to $1,000, down more than 42 percent on the weekly chart. As the broader market downturn continues, yelling online has become the crypto trader’s latest coping mechanism after the rise of Goblintown Ethereum NFTs at the end of May and beginning of June, where holders made incoherent groaning sounds and role-played as urine-loving goblin creatures in late-night Twitter Spaces.
