The issue of an illegal landfill in Mirabad remains unresolved
An illegal landfill causing environmental problems in the Mirabad district of Tashkent continues to harm the quality of life for residents and the surrounding environment. Although the site, located near house 119/17 on the 2nd Narrow Street of Fergana Highway, was initially intended for leaf storage, it has gradually turned into a dumping ground for household and construction waste.
Residents of the area have repeatedly appealed to the Mirabad district administration, but no action has been taken so far. The accumulation of waste not only mars the street’s appearance but also deteriorates sanitary conditions, posing health risks and contributing to environmental pollution.
The officials’ lack of response has sparked growing dissatisfaction among the local population.
