The Road to Ertha v1.0: Upcoming Ertha Traveling Update 🌍
Greetings, Erthians! We’ve been steadily developing the game, and we’re almost ready to introduce you to the next big update.
Surprise - we’re jumping straight to Ertha Beta v0.9!
But, before this update, we need to implement an important game mechanic which will make sure the v0.9 functions correctly. That mechanic is Traveling. 🚶‍♂️
Your character will now have to travel between HEXs using energy. The place that you “spawn” in will depend on the country you selected when creating your character - it will be the capital city of that country.
From there, you can use energy to travel around the country and the globe, and prepare for Ertha Beta v0.9, where we’re aiming to introduce the first company and job mechanics.
So, consider this upcoming update an “intermediate” between v0.7 and v0.9. With it, we’re also squashing a lot of bugs and adding quality-of-life updates.
After Ertha Beta v0.9, we’re going to be very close to Ertha v1.0, which will be a functional daily cycle of working, studying and living in the Ertha Metaverse.
