Matt Hussey, editorial director of NEAR Protocol (and former editor-in-chief of Decrypt) responded to the news of the Telegram group with “#meIRL.” The initiatives announced by Perekopsky include monitoring the content in groups. According to the executive, posts identified as lacking context or as containing false information will be flagged as a potential source of disinformation. The content is then forwarded to Telegram's fact-checking channels for analysis and subsequent publication of verified information. 1What is Telegram Channels? Check the rights you’re willing to give to your administrator. The group’s featured image is of a Pepe frog yelling, often referred to as the “REEEEEEE” meme.
