• قال الله تبارك وتعالى:- ﴿الَّذينَ صَبَروا وَعَلى رَبِّهِم يَتَوَكَّلونَ﴾ [النحل: ٤٢].
ذكر الله وصف أوليائه فقال: ﴿الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا﴾ على أوامر الله وعن نواهيه، وعلى أقدار الله المؤلمة، وعلى الأذية فيه والمحن ﴿وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ﴾ أي: يعتمدون عليه في تنفيذ محابّه، لا على أنفسهم.
وبذلك تنجح أمورهم وتستقيم أحوالهم، فإن الصبر والتوكل ملاك الأمور كلها، فما فات أحدا شيء من الخير إلا لعدم صبره وبذل جهده فيما أريد منه، أو لعدم توكله واعتماده على الله.
