عن ابي عبد الله ع :إن أرض الكعبة قالت : من مثلي وقد بُني بيت الله على ظهري ياتيني الناس من كل فج عميق وجعلتُ حرم الله وأَمْنَهُ . فأوحي الله إليها : كفي وقري ' ما فضلُ ما فُضلتِ بهِ فيما أعطيتْ أرض كربلاء إلا بمنزلة الإبرة غُمست في البحر فحملت من ماء البحر 'ولو تربة كربلاء ما فضلتك ' ولولا من ضمتهُ كربلاء لما خلقتك ولا خلقت الذي افتخرتِ به ' فقري وستقري وكوني ذَنَباً مُتواضعاً ذليلاً مَهِيناً ' غير مُستكنف ولا مستكبر لأرض كربلاء وألا مسختك وهويت بك في نار جهنم
