15 yrs after the release of my debut & the 1st Persian hip-hop studio album ‘Jangale Asfalt’, now far from home, Mahdyar & I are excited to announce the NFT of the album artwork which will go on auction this Friday 9th April, 1pm PDT on Foundation.

For decades, Iranian artists have been silenced, imprisoned, punished, or forced into self-exile by the Islamic Republic, simply for making music. Our story is no different. I remember the excitement and anxiety we had when hand delivering first copies of the album in secret which eventually led to my arrest. We hope that decentralized technologies can help empower artists globally to free themselves from systemic oppression and censorship.
