Hong Kong Alliance makes strategic staffing adjustments in response to the dire political environment

In the past year, Hong Kong's political environment has sharply deteriorated. As part of Hong Kong’s civil society, the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China (Hong Kong Alliance) has been particularly affected by the increasingly severe and obvious political repression. Hong Kong Alliance has always adhered to the same core principles and beliefs while also responding to changes in the political situation from time to time. Recently, after many discussions, the Hong Kong Alliance Standing Committee decided to take the following two preventive measures:

First, strategically reducing the number of Standing Committee members. The current Alliance Standing Committee has been reduced from 20 to 14 members. Recently, seven current Standing Committee members resigned...
