يقول السيد الإمام الخميني رحمة الله عليه (ت: ١٩٨٩م):
"لا تجعلوا أنفسكم ألعوبة بيد الشيطان؛ كأن يقول أحدكم: إن تكليفي الشرعي يقتضي كذا، ويقول الآخر: إن تكليفي الشرعي عكس ذلك. ففي بعض الأحيان، يتولى الشيطان نسج التكاليف الشرعية للإنسان، ويُملي عليه واجبات معينة. وفي أحيان أخرى، تدفع الأهواء النفسية الإنسان إلى أداء بعض الأعمال على أنها واجب شرعي، فليس من الواجب الشرعي أن يُهين مسلم مسلمًا وليس من الواجب الشرعي أن يُسيء المسلم إلى أخيه في الدين، إنه حب الدنيا وحب النفس"* [الجهاد الأكبر ص ٢٩]. "في بعض الأحيان، يتولى الشيطان نسج التكاليف الشرعية للإنسان، ويُملي عليه واجبات معينة"
