There are two main parties in the USA,those are Democrats and Republicans.These two parties are not similar to each other,though they do have few things in common.

Firstly, Democrats favour a progressive tax,so that they would be able to finance their expanded role.,while Republicans do not.Tough the Republicans do support aggressive military,as they want to protect the U.S. national interests.If the Republicans are considered as conservatives,the Democrats are considered as liberals.On social issues,Democrats seek more freedom, while Republicans follow more traditional points of view,supporting government intervention in such matters.For example,Democrats support and elevate the rights of black people,and the Republicans do not,as their statement is that both black and white people have equal rights.In terms of geography,Democrats are mostly supported in urban areas,as Republicans are popular in rural areas.

Overall,it can be said that both Republicans and Democrats are somehow right in some areas,as this rival has not stopped since the birth of the U.S.
