Developing social channels based on exchanging a single message isnβt exactly new, of course. Back in 2014, the βYoβ app was launched with the sole purpose of enabling users to send each other the greeting βYo.β Telegram message that reads: "Bear Market Screaming Therapy Group. You are only allowed to send screaming voice notes. Everything else = BAN. Text pics, videos, stickers, gif = BAN. Anything other than screaming = BAN. You think you are smart = BAN. Those being doxxed include outgoing Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, Chung and police assistant commissioner Joe Chan Tung, who heads police's cyber security and technology crime bureau. Telegram channels enable users to broadcast messages to multiple users simultaneously. Like on social media, users need to subscribe to your channel to get access to your content published by one or more administrators. So far, more than a dozen different members have contributed to the group, posting voice notes of themselves screaming, yelling, groaning, and wailing in various pitches and rhythms.
