Early 2024, The Supreme Court ruled that the obstruction law (1512(c)(2)) used against January 6 defendants was misapplied, opening the door for their release. Congress must act now.

Four years ago, many were unjustly imprisoned due to the government's misuse of 1512(c)(2). This law was meant for evidence tampering, not broader actions. January 6 protesters exercised their right to peacefully protest and were treated as political prisoners. This attack on our First Amendment rights must end. Trump must work to free the J6ers DAY ONE.
